It's a recurrent rumor that could now be confirmed if we do case to publish what Reuters: Samsung could abandon ARM as a supplier of processors for its upcoming tablet Galaxy and opt for Intel architecture. The team on brand new chip change would be the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and would furnish processor Clover Trail + the House that we have seen in a good collection of smartphones, such as the K900 Lenovo and ZTE Geek.
But the news has not only jumped in the aforementioned News Agency, as Korea Times corroborates it citing an unnamed employee of Intel, and stating that the number of engineers who work on Atom in Korea has increased in the past six years, now being 50 those who engage in time complete to this. These engineers would be working "in Samsung-related projects", a claim that would confirm the rumors.
Rotary Korean claims that Samsung would be trying to escape high dependence and supply problems of the Exynos based on ARM, efforts that would have found a very open Intel to collaborate and provide good prices. Everything seems to indicate that increasingly we will see more Android with Intel architecture, and we assume that first showcase will be Computex in the coming week.
